Looking for an experienced medical assistant for a medical office specializing in rheumatology. Primary job duties will include: Entering patient data and information into the EHR. Preparing exam rooms and bringing patients into the exam rooms. Checking and recording patient vital signs and medications. Administering injections to patients (subcutaneous, intramuscular). Providing injection training for patients. Uploading documents into patients' charts electronically. Handling requests for medical records. Answering phones and calling patients when needed.

This position requires: 1. Experience and education in back office work. 2. Good people skills and phone etiquette. 3. Ability to get along with other office personnel, and to always be ready to assist with other duties when needed. 4. Solid computer skills, preferably with EHR experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
